Fashion Designer Tracy Reese Launches Art Program For Kids In Detroit

Fashion Designer Tracy Reese has launched a free arts program – Hope for Flowers enrichment classes – for the children of Detroit, Michigan, the place of her birth. She started the arts program in order to bring more cultural awareness to the children as well as broaden their horizons and teach them about sustainability in arts. Classes start in October and continue into November.

The Hope for Flowers program also goes hand in hand with her Hope for Flowers Line which is made from sustainable materials.

Tracy Reese, fashion designer of ready to wear women’s clothing, accessories and home fashions, is originally from Detroit, Michigan and moved to NY for design school, launching her own label in 1998 called Tracy Reese.

Her designs are carried by a multitude of retailers, with the Tracy Reese flagship store in New York. There is a second store located in Tokyo, Japan.
