There should really be tons of security on hand if Naomi Campbell is issued a subpoena to show up for that blood diamond fiasco because so far, she has refused to discuss anything about it. Unfortunately for her, Naomi Campbell may end up in court to discuss just that.
A little back story is that Naomi Campbell supposedly received some diamonds that were “covered in blood” from the former Liberian president, Charles Taylor. Now, this very president is on trial for war crimes, and blood diamonds are a part of the crimes. If Naomi received diamonds from the man,well, that puts her in dead center. She could be that witness to tell it all.
Naomi is said by her former agent and others to have actually witnessed diamonds being exchanged, and the prints on some of those bloody things were supposedly Naomi’s. [source]
Will the subpoena happen? More than likely, yes.
While all this mess is going down, Naomi is still in Cannes, France living the life. She isn’t worried about any subpoena! Please!
