For the longest time, ever since Madonna’s Material Girl back in the 80′s, we have considered that Madonna’s trade mark. Legally, it may not be however. Pop the top on this legal drama and why the Beckhams are laying off!
Turns out, the “Material Girl” is getting sued by L.A. Triumph Inc, claiming that Madonna stole their Material Girl trademark! Looks like court time for Madonna who launched her own Material Girl fashions last year at Macy’s, and this means that Madonna’s Material Girl may be moving over onto the “original” Material Girl fashions causing a bit of trouble. Hopefully, this can all be worked out because who knew that there was actually another Material Girl besides one coming from Madonna’s vocals and fashion sense?

On another monetary note, the rich and famous are noticing that their money is going down the tubes! David Beckham and wife, Victoria, are cutting costs as they are said to be eliminating staff after being warned by accountant. What’s going on, Becks?
Turns out that calculations are proving a waste of money on staff for the upkeep of their many homes, homes that they can only live in once at a time! Some of the staff was simply a waste of all that hard earned money, so rumor has it, that David sliced them off of the payroll. Don’t get it twisted, the Beckhams are a far cry away from the unemployment line. This decision is said to arisen from wise guidance from his dear money handling accountant.
Sweet…but not so sweet to the laid off staff. Bummer.
